L.A. WeeklyErnest HardyWhere writer-director Bethany Ashton really excels is in capturing the complex dynamics of small-town life.
New York TimesJeannette CatsoulisMen are men, and women are no end of sorry in Little Chenier, a steamy saga of jealousy and revenge set on a waterlogged spit of Louisiana land.
User ReviewJordan Gincredible film, one of my faves. astounding photography and mind-blowing acting.

User Reviewcathy rMUST SEE IT IS MY KIND OF MOVIE..................... IT WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH AND CRY........
User ReviewJulie MI love that there is a twist to this story. I also enjoyed the experience of being in the deep south. A whole different world then what I am used to here on Long Island. Seems a bit scarry.
User ReviewJeffrey DThe battle of good/evil mixed with suspense/mystery thriller engages me from the beginning to the end. The many characters of the simple people in a small cajun town are painted rather one-dimensional. The isolated swamp setting suggests perpetually impending danger, with alligators lurking underneath. Has an old-fashion feel to it.
User ReviewIrene BA touching, realistic portrait of life on the Bayou, good storyline. This movie stayed with me for days.
User ReviewGregory Lone of the best movies ive seen portray the cajun lifestyle. not right on the money- but the right sense of values are there- 'IM gonna get me some good fornicatin on my birtday!" LOL I LOVE IT
User Review*Shay~Shay*i loved this movie. as a louisiana resident i thought it showed a correct picture of some parts of our culture. also it was filmed just before hurricane rita hit the area and the places they filmed just aren't there anymore. it's a must see for southwest louisiana residents.
