Movie Reviews

Los Angeles Times - 7/10 by Kevin ThomasThe first half of License to Drive, which is mostly concerned with taking the lessons and passing the test and getting the license, is very funny. The second half, which is mostly an extended chase scene in which a hapless teenager's grandfather's Cadillac is wrecked by a drunk, is much more predictable.
Film Threat - 6/10 by Clint MorrisOne of the best teen comedies ever made....an absolute blast!
Time Out - 6/10 by Geoff AndrewEverything you've ever hated about American teenagers, their music, money, fashion sense, their values, and most of all their pin-ups, in one auto-destructive movie.
Chicago Tribune - 5/10 by Dave KehrEverything you've ever hated about American teenagers, their music, money, fashion sense, their values, and most of all their pin-ups, in one auto-destructive movie.
Washington Post - 4/10 by Hal HinsonAbout all that's worth noting is that the Caddy gets demolished and that the stars remain intact (though practically everyone will wish that it were the other way around).
Common Sense Media - 4/10 by Barbara ShulgasserDated '80s teen comedy has car crashes, drinking, cursing.
The Globe and Mail (Toronto) - 1/10 by Jay ScottI spent a lot of time during the new Corey Haim-Corey Feldman movie, License to Drive, trying to figure out where it is set. Then it hit me. IT IS SET IN HELL! Hell, in this case, is a place where all the actors are named Corey. Where everyone is under the legal drinking age. Where everybody still breathes through his mouth and Oxy-5 flows like champagne.
User Review - 10/10 by Andre MThere are few movies that truly embrace the 80's. This is one of them.
User Review - 10/10 by Troy AFunny movie, my drivers ed class showed this movie.
User Review - 10/10 by Julie CThis is a great 80's movie. It stars Corey Haim and Corey Feldman. Les Anderson (Haim) has just turned 16 and wants his license, and a girl at his school. There's just one problem..................he failed his drivers test. Now how will he take his dream girl out? This is a wonderful film with comedy and action.
