It's a movie that spotlights not just the result of underdogs triumphing, but moreso the importance of the fight of the underdog. You leave the movie inspired to do something good in your community, after watching the great things that the subjects of the movie have done.

This film is thorough and compassionate and mesmerizing in places. I find myself thinking about Petaluma Batman and going to sleep some nights just thankful that these people exist in the world. Being a female with other interests as a kid, Batman never did much for me. But seeing Batman's influence over the people in this film has done a great deal for me. So in that way, I'm now a Batfan, too. Find a way to see this film! It will change you and change your view of the world.
