Cine VértigoErnesto DiezmartinezOne actress for most of the time, great camerawork, splendid sound design and a story that might not be all that new but it's perfectly executed. [Full review in Spanish]
En FilmeLuis Fernando GalvánThe film is a slow burn, DiBlasi takes his time to build of the horror sequences and it pays off. [Full review in Spanish]
User ReviewMichael PMaybe the best horror movie I've seen in the last 15-20 years. The one I've been waiting for. Of course it's a little known movie and got no press, but shit like unfriended gets hyped. And that's the problem. All least there are us viewers to pass it on to the next . I literally never write reviews. I just finished watching it and had to leave one. Do not miss this horror flick. It draws you in, doesn't use cheap scares most of ten time, and even the jump scares are legit jump scares. It will go down in my top horror films of all time. Perfectly executed. What I look for in a horror movie. A 1408, meets the Shining, meets the haunting, meets assault of precinct with the Manson vibe mixed in. I've liked a few horror movies recently. Sinister, The conjuring, It follows, etc. But nothing scared me like this. What a gem. Disgrace this got no press.
User ReviewClaire MI loved this! Jump scares done right, creepy, gave you the twitches! I had a mile long grin on my face the entire film! WISH there were more new, good horrors around like this!
User ReviewJay NI watch a lot of horror movies, this one is terrifying. Scariest flick I've seen since sinister
User ReviewBrian PSurprisingly tense horror thriller...thank you Netflix!!
User ReviewPaul DJump scares abound, and genuinely well done horror at its finest. There's a wonderful blend of imagery that sells the terror the lead is experiencing, and definitely leads to a gripping conclusion.
User ReviewNathan TWell crafted movie with great scares and unique ways about implementing them. The plot was in ways cliché but helped the movie stay easy to follow and enjoy.
User ReviewBlake BA satanic Assault on Precinct 13, if you will. Last Shift is a brilliant modern horror film that is terrifying as it is captivating. The film draws you in to the point where you are unable to move or take your eyes off of the succulent horror that is in front of you. Beautiful directing, a solid script and story, and a phenomenal lead is just what every great horror movie needs. This film will and should definitely go down in history. A true classic in the making.
User ReviewJack MAmazing film that genuinely scares you many times!
