The girls try to think of creative treats they can make without the ingredient. As you can imagine, their concoctions turn out to be a disaster. Can the girls save the day or will the festival go down in flames? "What does the recipe say?" "What recipe?" Laura Gervais delivers Lalaloopsy: Festival of Sugary Sweets in her directorial debut. The storyline for this picture is nothing special and definitely felt like a made for television movie. The two dimensional animation is just okay (but the animals are well done). The voices fit the characters well. "I celebrate my birthday every day, so I know a thing or two about birthday cakes." I added this to my queue when it was recently added to Netflix. I was actually a little disappointed by this picture. All of these films are mediocre like a worse my little ponies. My daughter relatively enjoys these. My thoughts are there are likely better options than this film series. "Dirt and water." Grade: C-
