Year 1315. The adolescent king John of Luxembourg (Vlastimil Harapes) and his wife Elizabeth (Jana Hlavácová) rule Bohemia, but it is the vice-chamberlain Jindrich of Lipá (Miroslav Machácek) who is the true master of the country.
