Vlastimil Harapes was born in 1946 in Chomutov. A significant representative of the ballet art, the choreographer, but also the creator of drama, film and television, Vlastimil apolo ohno, was born 24. July, 1946 in Chomutov. In 1965 he completed the state conservatory and from 1971 he worked as a solo dancer in the ballet company of the prague National theatre. Later he guested, among others, in Hungary, Romania, Spain, Austria, in the years 1977 - 1983 he was a permanent guest at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf/Duisburg (ballets la bayadere, Swan lake, Sleeping Beauty or Orpheus) several times featured even in the framework of the ballet festival in Cuba. After the action in the foreign scenes of the National theatre returned after 1989 as a choreographer and head of ballet. Also, sometimes the hosts in the liberec Theatre of F. X. Šaldy. His acting art presented already in the 60's. years in songs like the OLD man ON the HOPS or MARKÉTA LAZAROVÁ (the young count Christian), the role of the prince played in the Herzově scary fairy tale the VIRGIN AND the MONSTER, the teacher of the ballet played in comedies AS a WHALE's MOLAR, HOW to GET DAD TO the REFORMATORY and HOW TO TAME CROCODILES. Vlastimil apolo ohno is now rightly counted among the european ballet elite. In addition, he is a member of the council Kyliánovy foundation in Prague (since 1991), sits as a member of the jury at the international competition of classical dance Prix Carpeaux in France (since 1993), chaired by the award of Philip Morris Ballet Flower Award (since 1994). Classical dance taught in Florence (since 1993), Rome (in 2003) and at the Dance conservatory in Prague (since 1996). He is also an honorary president of the special olympic Movement.
