Leave your thoughts about Killers Anonymous.
Los Angeles TimesNoel MurrayIn a way, Oldman’s presence is symptomatic of a larger failing: the decision to cram together a bunch of cool but incomplete ideas rather than spending the time and money to make proper use of just one.
RogerEbert.comSimon AbramsKillers Anonymous just doesn't make sense as a throwback to MTV-friendly sensibilities. It's also not inventive, funny, or energetic enough to warrant its creators' vague ideas about deceiving looks, moral relativism, and, uh, girl power?
VarietyDennis HarveyIt doesn’t strike an assertively comic tone either, resulting in a superficially colorful but hollow pile of contrivances that are neither clever nor convincing enough to achieve more than time-passing diversion.
The GuardianLeslie FelperinIt’s a nonsensical premise and a pretty incoherent, painfully inept film.
The New York TimesJeannette CatsoulisWhile you might leave with several unanswered questions, the most concerning one is how this fiasco was ever financed in the first place.
User ReviewDaryl20woodFor me, generally people are too critical of movies. Its entertainment and this film provides that.
User ReviewInTrippyEntropyA gathering of people who feels compelled to kill discusses how they came to be that way. One talks about how he killed his best friend and in a supposed hunting accident. " the smell of gunpowder went into my nose and up into my brain and stayed there." Another is a doctor that watches people die so that he can feel unafraid of death. Right now, you are probably rewriting this movie. Because you can see how this could have been very interesting. We all want to know what brings people to this horrible deed. But alas, no satisfaction is to be offered. Visually, it looks good. Reminded me of the 70s Earth Tones of Bad Times at the El Royale. You look forward to Gary Oldman and Jessica Alba. But they're barely in the movie. It's not good. But it's certainly not 0%.
User ReviewJLuis_001Gary Oldman, I weep for your career but I do not weep for the check you cashed in.
User ReviewMauro_Lanari(Mauro Lanari) Logorroic, theatrical, tarantinesque. In one word: repulsive.
User ReviewJumpCut_OnlineAs a concept it’s one that begs to be explored but the script and dialogue between the cast makes the whole thing feel hollow. A group of strangers gathered together in one night can be tweaked but here it’s completely unappealing. Besides Tommy Flanagan as the standard badass and Tim McInnerny as the psycho with a medical PHD, there’s barely a threatening streak among them. There’s no tension between the group so that when things finally do blow up, it’s lacking any level of excitement it’s struggling to get a hold of. It doesn’t help that action sequences are so poorly put together you find yourself leaning forward to in your seat to see if anything of value is actually happening. Ultimately, Killer’s Anonymous is an easy target for a great idea that misses things by a mile.
