Lucy Westfield will begin as journalist in the "Manhattan News".This morning she arrives late at the office because a problem with her bicycle.The editor-in-chief, Melvyn O'Hara was looking with his team for a good theme for celebration of 11 the Septtember 2001.So he asked Lucy if she had an idea and immediately she answers that she knows Andrew Taylor, a fireman who saved many lives on that day.Her colleague Rebecca doesn't think that it's good idea to write again about heroes of that tragedy.But Melvyn insists on the proposition of Lucy.So Lucy comes back home at Kingston in the Hudson Valley and tells her mother about the report that she will do about Andrew Taylor.Her mother, Linda Westfield, doesn't agree with the idea of an interview with Andrew Taylor.Also she mentions shorty the name of her son Finn who disappeared on 11th September .Lucy goes to the bar "Fire and Water" managed by Andrew,she meets Nicholas, the son of Andrew who has come back to the Hudson Valley.This night she can't speak with Andrew about the interview because Andrew cut his hand with an ice pick.Back at home her mother says again that it's not good to look at the past.On the morning Lucy goes to the river where Andrew is fishing and Andrew explains that he has refused the Silver Star medal and that he doesn't want to speak with journalists.Later she meets Nicholas who was sure that his father, who is sick (his lungs have been attacked by the dust), didn't want to collaborate with the newspaper.Besides Nicholas tells her that Andrew received on 11th September a call from Finn in New York..
