Cinema em CenaPablo VillaçaCom mais um roteiro bastante imaginativo, Gale comprova que sua contribuição para o sucesso da série De Volta para o Futuro foi mais do que apreciável; foi fundamental.
User ReviewJan LIt is out there...but really funny in a "Being John Mavlkavitch" kind of way. This movie should top the list with "Off the Map"...but I don't see most of the small movies that I like on this site to choose from.
User ReviewJohn YThis is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It really gets you thinking about cause and effect, coincidence vs. inevitability. And its funny.
User ReviewArpy VA rocking movie!!! Just loved Mr. O. W. Grant....
User ReviewRyan VI love this movie! totally 5 stars! it makes you think! but you have to watch it with an open mind!
User ReviewBill EThis was a great movie. It is a story about the angst of a young man coming into his own in a society that is self absorbed and self centered.
User ReviewLuke CMy favorite movie of all time, creative, honest, to the point. Interstate is so much more than a road trip movie
User ReviewAndrew WAbsolutly Love this movie! But it seems no one I talk to has ever heard of it saddly enough.
User ReviewAlaina KWhat I'm about to say is something I do in fact mean. For I say what I mean and I mean what I say. This is one of the most bizarre, awesome, strange, crazy, wonderful movies I have ever seen. We happened upon it while browsing Netflix last night and were highly impressed. Very interesting premise, executed and acted superbly. I'd love to see this continued as a series (as mentioned by another reviewer) on one of the cable networks.
User ReviewDan BWell-written faux folklore that captures the feel of authentic mythology, from its road quest narrative structure to its Faustian bargains and gleefully ironic twists. The movie begins with a theory: that American culture is unique for not having a mythological figure who grants wishes... then sets out to create one. The screenwriter definitely did their homework. I'm sure I caught just a fraction of the references, but I know a "Monkey's Paw" allusion when I see one... or a dozen. My favorite line may be this: "Every event is inevitable. If it wasn't, it wouldn't happen." Atheists, mystics, and just plain fans of folklore will find much to love on Interstate 60. Side Note: I've had my doubts about Netflix's recommendation engine, but this one made a believer outta me. If things were just based on genre settings and cast members, I can't imagine why it predicted a 4-star rating for this film. There must be some real math at work in that black box algorithm. It crunched the numbers and picked up on the subtler threads that link Interstate 60 to the things I love: folk lore, eccentric characters, secular themes, surrealism, etc. Nice work, Netflix.
