Leave your thoughts about Inspector Gadget's Biggest Caper Ever.
Common Sense MediaJoly HermanWowsers, this silly caper is hampered by poor CGI animation.
User ReviewMekhi winspector gadget's biggest caper ever is a cold refreshing relaxed movie the cgi is not bad for it's time however the writing is......Okay so to me it's a cool movie
User ReviewDaniel HWow inspector gadget. I loved the show and i may have seen this but not completely sure.
User ReviewWahida KThis movie was an (almost) feature length CGI movie based on the original Inspector Gadget cartoon from way back in the 80s. It was definitely an update from the original cartoon, what with the CGI and what not, but it didn't quite capture the magic that the original animated series had. They did a good job with sticking true to the premise of the original series with Inspector Gadget being a bumbling cop who always lucks in to his collars. Gadget, Penny, Brain, Chief Quimby and Dr. Claw were all in the movie and their CGI upgrades looked good on them. The story was good enough, but I think they could have done a bit more with it, it seemed to drag in a few spots. Still a good flick for what it is but not as good as the cartoon series.
User ReviewCoady Mits average the 3d is wonky sometimes and penny is supposed to be like 10 but looks 20
User ReviewLaura HOne of the kids favorites. How can you beat the combination of crime fighting and gadgetry? I would rather skip it myself.
User ReviewJeffrey AI have to give this movie some credit for the animation, as I was definitely low budget and a small time movie, but the animation was not as terrible as expected. Considering how time consuming and expensive computer animation is to make, this was not too bad. The cartoon is, by far, much better, as the voice of Don Adams is unmatcheable. Still, I liked the bloopers on this DVD, and the movie was not half as bad as the live action version of Inspector Gadget.
User ReviewJohn CAt times unbearable. I did like the Benny Hill homage and some funny lines, but as a huge Inspector Gadget fan this one was a letdown. Makes u realize how hard it is to get animation right and never take it for granted.
User ReviewCurt SInteresting to see the usual characters in 3D.
