This story is about the five Cain children whose mother suffers from mental instability. When she is finally committed to an institution, the children are fostered by a childless couple who soon grow to love them as their own. She does an amazing job of playing this very difficult role and making the audience connect with a character that they would rather just not like and push away. All of the children in this film are AMAZING at being able to convey such intense emotions and understand their deep roles. This is not an easy movie to find as it was made for TV and it's rather old now but it's worth putting in the effort to search for!
