Full Plot Details

A young woman who believes she's a cyborg hears voices and harms herself while at work making radios. She's hospitalized in a mental institution where she eats nothing and talks to inanimate objects. Asi mismo, ha dirigido esta misma pelicula con el mismo profesionalismo que lo caracteriza. Maravillosa!!!. Es una exploracion exquisita de la psicologia humana desde el punto de vista de la 'locura' a partir de una serie de personajes internados en una institucion para 'enfermos mentales'. Algunos conceptos como el de 'psique' (psyche -alma- concepto ligado a la cosmovision en Grecia que designaba la fuerza vital de un individuo, unida a su cuerpo en vida y desligada del mismo luego de su muerte), salen a relucir en esta pelicula siendo manejado de una manera impecable. Es un filme bastante tierno a la manera de Chan Wook Park, director acostumbrado a tratar temas ultraviolentos, sadicos y macabros (Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, OldBoy, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance). Una ternura y una belleza neosurrealista bien llevada a escena gracias a una direccion de arte de superlujo con unos espacios formidables y unas actuaciones dignas de aplaudir. Los recursos tecnicos utilizados para esta pelicula son bastante divertidos y logran un realismo impresionante que por momentos hacen tener una lectura diferente de la pelicula. Otra estetica, otra tematica, pero llevada de la mano de este excelente director, hace que el filme sea bastante bueno. De 10.
User Review - 10/10 by Helen JMy favourite film. I just love the insanity of it. It definitely needs to be watched a few times before you fully 'get' it, but it's definitely worth it. It's completely original and really rather adorable. I think this has been Bi Rain's best role as an actor, too.
