| User ReviewPaul JCaveh does it again with a self-deprecating and humble film experience. He wrote, directed and starred in this film which is part-scripted but mainly improvised. In fact, it was an experiment to see if God could write the script, aka, leave it up to chance or fate. Caveh wanted to bond with his real-life Dad, so he takes him on a road trip to Vegas. Eventually he tries to convince him to drop ecstasy. It's actually kind of brilliant and hysterically funny at times. It's also extremely painful in its sincerity. It may not be to everyone's taste but personally I found Caveh's odyssey compelling and incredibly brave. For those who don't know what to expect from Zahedi's movies, he's like a slightly more neurotic and edgy Woody Allen. |
