User Review - 10/10 by mike hi love 1 and 2 and expected a lot more from this, it could of been another great hostel movie, unfortunately it kind of disappointed me. They just didn't shoot it like a movie like hostel should be shoot, and the lines, and actors, well, i guess the did their best but it didn't do it for me like the first too, its neat that they are in vegas, this is almost like a hangover meets hostel movie, and lets just walk thru what could of been something really great, mr roth, why did you let them do this, i will make a hostel movie for all the directors out there who just sellout and let the masterpieces turn to shit, when will you learn, you must do it yourself. trust no one.
User Review - 10/10 by Kyle LQuickly fast paced, Mindlessly Brutal, Violent, Graphic, Gory and more disgusting than it's previous predecessors Hostel Part 3 is the best Hostel film out of all the three Hostel movies. While Eli Roth's first two Hostel movies were great but average the third film in the franchise changed it all. This new Hostel film is this time directed by Scott Spiegel(director of From Dusk Till Dawn 2 and producer of Hostel Part 2) and the movie is a change in the Hostel franchise. The great things about Hostel 3 is that the film is incredibly in a different direction this time from the settings until the torture scenes. Since the first two Hostel films takes place in Europe the third film takes place in Las Vegas. Plus the movie has a couple of suspenceful moments that the first two didn't have at all since this movie not only has the graphic violence and gore maximized to the top the movie also has the suspense maximized on a higher scale. Now the plot of this movie is about a group of friends celebrating a bachelor party in Las Vegas where this time bad things start to happen to them and soon one of their friends disappeared on the day they were partying and when the group search for their friends they soon get kidnapped as well and they must escape before they die as well. Since this movie is the best in the Hostel films it is also the best Direct To DVD sequel since Quarantine 2 Terminal and Wrong Turn 4 Bloody Beginnings. They seriously did a good job with this film so far. It was a really good horror movie from start to finish and the film really moves fast and as the next scene goes on the movie even moves faster and faster and when your watching this film it's like when your driving a race car you have to step on it to win and the car drives faster and faster that's how the pacing of this film goes. This movie has everything so far for a Hostel movie and for a horror film at the same time. What's great about this movie is that all the torture scenes in this film is seriously different and incredibly on screen and in your face so far. Plus the Graphic Violence and gore is seriously over the top as well. Since in the first Hostel we got various kinds of torture scenes like drill on the leg, Fingers getting cut violently, Nose getting pierced and cut violently and graphically and throats being slashed graphically and violently. From the second movie we got throats getting cut like in the first movie while the rest are just the same to the first movie except the new kill in the second film is the beheading of one person and playing the head as a soccer ball. Here in part three all the kills are different and more violent and more graphic plus more disturbing than the first two Hostel films. Here we got cockroaches going in the mouth. A face of a person getting removed violently by using a scalpel first to trace the marks on the face and then the person violently removes it in a graphic way then we have someone getting shot with nine arrows from the stomach until the face and more torture scenes. To say this I like all the torture scenes in Hostel three and I personally like the idea that all the Elite Hunting members can watch the person kill the victim by mainly making a bet first in the wheel of misfortune and when the weapon has the highest bet they can watch the person kill the victim with that weapon which makes this movie more interesting than the first two Hostel films plus the movie also has a lot of suspenceful moments and there's also a twist in Hostel three that the first two didn't have so far. Now the acting in Hostel three is great we got a couple of good casts in the film we have mainly Kip Pardue(The Wizard of Gore) who does an incredible job playing as the main antagonist in the film and more casts as well. Director Scott Spiegel did a good job with his directing with this movie so far and writer Michael Weiss did a good job as well with his writing with the film so far. Overall Hostel Part 3 gets a 10/10 because the movie is really suspenceful and more violent and more graphic than it's previous predecessors so overall Hostel Part 3 is the best Hostel film in the Hostel franchise. Thank you Scott Spiegel for making a good Hostel film for Horror fans and I'm proud with your work Mr Spiegel.
