Why did the roommate Herman replaced leave all of his stuff behind, as though he never really left? And why do the rest of the roommates "assume" he joined a cult? And why is there a makeshift tombstone with his name on it in the backyard? And what's the deal with the monster that's stealing Herman's socks and living in a giant labyrinth under the house? As Herman searches for the answers he'll learn that they can only be found on a path that leads to sex, murderous murder, hole-digging, and a BATTLE TO THE DEATH!

| User ReviewKaustubh PHey...stop stabbing me is not a low-budget movie- it's a no-budget movie. It seems the whole movie was made over a weekend but that doesn't stop it from being one the funniest films I've ever seen. The plot revolves around a world historian who digs holes for a living, a serial killer who buries people in his garden, a guy who calls himself Charteuse, a hairy monster who lives in the basement and likes to steal socks & an 'energetic' girlfriend. The dialogues are insane. The 'acting' is superb. How the hell did the actors manage to keep a straight face throughout baffles me. This movie is a gem but sadly such films rarely get the praise they deserve. I hope the movie reaches a larger audience. |

It's a no-budget, but amusingly-written, mostly well-paced, and at times, gut-bustingly funny pairing of a short film without dialogue in black and white, which WILL make you schnertz, despite any urge you might have to refrain from doing so, and the feature is as funny as the title. And c'mon, the title did make you laugh, didn't it? Do yourself a favor. See it. You'll thank me later. Or you can just send currency. ???? |
| User ReviewD MA very low-budget comedy-horror film about a recent college graduate. With nowhere to stay as soon as he graduates, he moves in with a group of strangers advertising for a roommate. He starts asking questions about the whereabouts of the previous roomies and uncovers a serial killer in his midst. Digital video, but done well enough to enjoy and good comedy (the soundtrack is rather annoying, though). |
