User ReviewMuthazhagu PRefreshing, and heart-breaking. Refreshing, because teen romance has not been depicted like this before. Heart-breaking, since it jars you into reality, where love does not conquer all. Excellent use of color in the movie. Baran Kosari is a treat to watch. Her depiction of the character Mahi, and endearingly inquiring speech is difficult to forget. Watch it if you get the chance.
User ReviewStina EGripande och realistisk historia med bra personportätt.
User ReviewDickie LSimple, sweet, but mostly depressing Ken Loachian tale about idealistic love railing against politics and prejudice. Film marks the feature debut of docomaker Arefpour and adds to the burgeoning number of women directors in Iran. Nicely lensed and played. Its no world beater, but its simplicity is its charm.
User ReviewHalida HTeenage romance, illegal immigrant issues, poignant expression of parental hopes, fears and disappointment.
