In 1989, he took an extended hiatus from his work to settle down and help raise a family. In 2006, Wayne decided to come out of retirement to continue his life's work, with Andrea now joining him in his craft. The grisly details of Wayne and Andrea's horrific crimes were captured by Wayne's video camera, a sick, twisted way to relive the experience again and again. Hundreds of hours of shocking footage shot over a period of several months have been edited into a feature length film, with cooperation from the victims' families. This footage is now being presented as the feature film HEAD CASE. From award-winning filmmaker Anthony Spadaccini.

| User ReviewAl MFor starters, the cast listed on the right does not refer to the film described above or in this review--it obviously refers to a porno film in which the word "head' takes on an entirely different meaning. While I am sure that film has its own allures, I will be discussing the found-footage, serial-killer point-of-view film Head Case that concerns a serial-killing couple who document their crimes. Funny, twisted, and well-made, Head Case is a solid example of how independent, found-footage horror can utilize the paucity of its means to positive effect. Not as brutal or alienating as the August Underground films, Head Case is a more enjoyable yet still disturbing and twisted piece of serial killer point of view cinema. |
