User ReviewHoussam AIts an anthropological work of art! It is a must watch for 'the under 40' American crowd. So many of the emotional contradictions can be resolved... without leaving your comfort zone. Absolutely brilliant!
User ReviewJeff HBrilliant, Impactful, Hilarious, & Transformational. Stand Up Comedy with heart, guts and intellect. A must see!
User ReviewIbra CChock full of a series of interrelated stories, this comedy special transcends its genre boundaries and blurs the line between comedy and storytelling. Minhaj is a master at his craft, putting the audience on a hilarious and hard-hitting emotional rollercoaster throughout the duration of the special. It's a powerful portrait of the now Daily Show Correspondent as he brings back memories of his youth as an 2nd generation Indian-American Muslim, his secret sister, his first love, his gripping prom tale, and his eventual rise to stardom. With artistic elements from award winners such as Sam Spratt & Ludwig Gorranson, Homecoming King is a gripping tale of identity, love, life and story of #NewBrownAmerica.
User ReviewNishal VTop notch, hard hitting, brilliantly made, and actually funny!
User ReviewFrancisco QSmart, honest, funny and relevant. Great personal story that ties together broader events in a comedic performance.
User ReviewYash BI was entertained from start to finish in this special. Every joke and every story that was presented made me feel a variety of emotions. It's such a unique experience to watch this. For me, a lot of the scenarios felt relatable, but even if it doesn't for you, there is plenty to laugh about and a lot to get invested in. You might not be laughing the entire time, but you'll definitely be entertained. It's a great Netflix special full of humor and heartbreak. Fans of original stand-up can't miss it.

User ReviewBrandon OI never watch stand-up comedy, so I'm unsure what to say here BUT this has a great mixture of laughs, emotional resonance, and timely messages -- all while integrating an entertaining, interactive stage design.
