The Hollywood ReporterJustin LoweShea's intense focus on constructing an overly intricate plot isn't borne out by the film's visual style, which is more workmanlike than inspired.
Los Angeles TimesGary GoldsteinThe film’s narrative engine remains too choppy and clunky, and the characters too cursorily developed, to hold attention.
User ReviewRose MIntelligent thriller that tells a story spanning two generations. Plot twists, moving scenery, great acting.
User ReviewJimmy CNot only a good movie, but great acting to boot!
User ReviewTony SGreat cinematography, excellent performances, and a story with a strong twists. Well worth watching - a very enjoyable movie! Also - saw a post back in February by someone giving this 1/2 stars - but the post was made before this movie was even released in late April!
User ReviewChris WThis thriller/ mystery started out by creating many questions but the answers to those questions were cleverly woven in throughout the film. No crazy stunts. Just very good character development and acting. Well written and the setting (Nantucket) was beautiful. Bravo!

User Reviewbill sI really liked the way everything came together at the end. Reminded me of a Alfred Hitchcock film.
User ReviewGreg TThis is not a Jesse Stone film with Tom Selleck. Eric Dane does not have the facial repetoire of Selleck and while he's a decent actor, he has to be given a worthy script. John Shea's screenwriting and direction is sub-standard. A waste of good actors and a scenic locale. Pass.
User ReviewshoulderoforionAgonizing over giving this a 3 or a 4, it was just about watchable, but in truth this is a really bad movie, could have elevated, but just stuck in dumb cliche the whole way through.
