| User ReviewMichael TI expected more from a film directed by Raoul Walsh and staring Ralph Meeker as a down and out boxer who fine redemption with the help of his loyal girlfriend, Leslie Caron. It's a serviceable if unoriginal story, but the film unfolds in a pretty blah and uninvolving manner. Caron has some good song and dance numbers that bring sporadic life to the otherwise lifeless film. It's not terrible, but it should have been a whole lot better. |
