| User ReviewDark EGiordano Bruno is a 1973 film directed by Giuliano Montaldo. The story is about the process called against Giordano Bruno, philosopher of 1500, he wrote and said theories against the Holy Church. The film is about a man a victim of power, that does not give up his ideas despite the constant torture and its philosophy. Excellent interpretation of Gian Maria Volonte, especially photography of Vittorio Storaro, a magnificent reconstruction of Venice in 1500 and fantastic music by Ennio Morricone. |
| User ReviewKyle MVery well made, a forgotten little gem. Good film. Good score, good acting, great shots and lighting. Powerful story presented well with a good script. In a way, timeless. |
