Blu-ray.comBrian OrndorfIt's a near miss, and a frustrating one. If you plan to watch it, ear plugs will help.
Film InquiryDylan WalkerPredictable, overbearing, and generic, Ghost House is a film that is lacking in all the essential ingredients that make up a great horror.
ReelViewsJames BerardinelliGhost House is a generally well-made but ultimately unsurprising excursion into the supernatural.
Los Angeles TimesKimber MyersVisually, Ghost House makes good use of its setting, offering Instagram-ready images of its location shot by Pierluigi Malavasi. Unfortunately, Thai people are used in ways that rely on cultural stereotypes, a blemish on an otherwise effective and unsettling film.
StarburstAndrew PollardGiven that this is one of director Rich Ragsdale's first full feature films, he's definitely shown enough promise here to suggest he could do great things if afforded a better screenplay.
Aisle SeatMike McGranaghanGhost House is very excited to show you a foreign land. It's also excited to display some horrific visuals. What it's not very interested in, though, is telling a worthwhile story.
The Hollywood ReporterJustin LoweA discordantly derivative attempt at amalgamating divergent horror cliches and unrelated cultural traditions.
Village VoiceBrian MarksBeyond the film’s ethnic stereotypes and flat characters, it needs to be scary, and it fails on that front as well.
User ReviewScott NI have just watched this movie, its thrilling and scary on some moments of the film, I have enjoyed it, I know the culture that have or beliefs of super natural beings in Thailand when my grandparents had told me when I was very young,
User Reviewp kWhat a refreshing spin take on the angry ghost theme. It seems that the women tourist cannot keep their hands off the ghost houses. It is up to the hapless males tourisst to find the means to save their greedy females lives.
