When spaceship Remus crash-lands on planet Morganthus, the Planet Master of Xerces sends the spacecraft Quest to rescue them, but it crash-lands, too. Baelon leads the away team, comprising himself, his rival Cabren, psi-sensitive Alluma, medic Dameia, martial arts fighter Quuhod and jittery rookie Cos. Finding only brutally murdered bodies aboard the Remus, Quest personal start getting brutally slaughtered, one-by-one, themselves. With their ship still damaged, the team investigates a nearby, lifeless alien pyramid, not realizing its using their own personal fears to hunt them down and kill them.

Washington Post - 5/10 by Gary ArnoldA rip-off of ALIEN (1979), this Roger Corman production has plenty of gore and a mindless storyline. A group of astronauts are sent to rescue a stranded spaceship. One is raped by a giant worm, another blows up, and a third cuts off his own arm. The special effects are excellent.
User Review - 2/10 by imthenoobTerrible writing definitely brought it down despite the very likeable cast and any possible nostalgia factor dies quickly due to the inconsistent pace and lack of a quality story. Galaxy of Terror comes off as an old episode of Doctor Who and not a feature film.
