Combustible CelluloidJeffrey M. AndersonA lazy attempt to spoof the popular sci-fi movies of the day.
User ReviewPrivate USpoof my ass....there's some real, deep-ass shit going on in this flick....watch it standing on your head at 2x speed....creepy.
User ReviewJake MIf Jesus could come back and be in one movie, it would be Galaxina.

User ReviewLorenzo Vfab!!!love the scene with alien doing its frankie vaughn impersonation....i reckon farscape got inspired....some great scenes with the hue and saturation filters too...shame its not so mainstream
User ReviewMarina GIt's not the best film ever made but back in the day there was no better hybrid of soft porn, sci-fi, and absurdist camp. Additionally, it's not that bad of a film, seriously. Stephen Macht was young and handsome, Dorothy Stratten was not a great actress but, my god, she was beautiful and, if I remember correctly, she had an unbelievable screen presence. I watched "Star 80" earlier tonight, and it reminded me how much I loved "Galaxina". Maybe we were just deprived of so many choices back in the late 70's, early 80's, but I truly love this film.
User ReviewJared GAs spoofs go, it wasn't awful. Actually, in some ways, it excelled the prequels (kidding). If they had spent more time developing some of the things going on (or even if they tried it seriously) it would have been interesting. There were some things going on that were interesting. I actually laughed in some places. The big criticism was how underdeveloped it was.
User ReviewJeremy KThis film is so stupid, its actually hysterically good in spots. nd I've been watching and collecting this film since 1980!
User ReviewM.Cornelis vA cheesy but fun sci-fi comedy with surprisingly good special effects work for a low budget film this old. A nod or two to Star Wars and some fun set and costume design. Dorothy Stratten looks great, but there's not a great deal of plot going on.
User ReviewWes SKind of like Spaceballs, with many movie parody scenes and some decent humor, but the story goes no where and a lot of it felt too sudden, but the characters are interesting and there are many fun parts.
