Leave your thoughts about Full Moon in Paris.
Time OutGeoff AndrewIt's as elegant and incisive a comedy of manners as ever from Rohmer.
CinePassionFernando F. CroceOut of this Lubitschian tangle Rohmer finds Le Beau Mariage in reverse, and couches it in terms of pure rhythm still unappreciated by bookish critics
NewcityRay PrideRohmer's wordplay is scalpel-precise, but the movement of his characters, the blocking of figures in dances of desire, figurative and literal, is also supremely graceful even as relationships explode with casual centripetal force.
Chicago ReaderDave KehrFull Moon in Paris, the fourth in the series, is bleaker than any of its predecessors.
New YorkerRichard BrodyWith a graceful round of self-deceptions and mistaken identities, exquisite rationalizations and fortuitous accidents, Rohmer pierces the glossy veneer of the social scene and the dignified realm of art to reveal the sexual fury that they embody.
Spirituality and PracticeFrederic and Mary Ann BrussatCompels us to examine our own feelings about eros, jealousy, union and loss.

User ReviewVinnie GMy first ever Rohmer film and I can honestly say that I've never seen anything quite like it before. Almost nothing truly physical happens; it's all character and dialogue driven. However, it's both fascinating and engrossing in the most unusual and satisfying way.
User ReviewRichard DIs there such thing as a bad Eric Rohmer movie? I've yet to find one and I doubt I ever will
User ReviewAdam CI'll admit it, there are moments in this film when you think either a) "why won't they stop TALKING" or b) w"ow, there were some hideous design choices made in the 80s," but that in no way overwhelms the gentle power of Rohmer's philosophical minimalism. What it all adds up to is that while it may be a little odd to watch, the rewards of watching it are vast. Seriously, if you watch it, that makes sense.
