Christian Vadim was born in 1963 in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine, France. Christian Vadim is the son of film director Roger Vadim and actress Catherine Deneuve. He was thus the half-brother of actress Chiara Mastroianni (daughter of Catherine Deneuve and Marcello Mastroianni), the half-brother of Nathalie Plémiannikov (daughter of Roger Vadim and Annette Stroyberg), the half-brother of Vanessa Plemiannikov (daughter of Roger Vadim and Jane Fonda) and the half-brother of Vania Plemiannikov (son of Roger Vadim and Catherine Schneider).
