Eager for affection and contact, yet afraid of the implications of involvement, the woman begins to have second thoughts, and suddenly, they realise that there's nothing left to say but goodbye. But, why does parting hurt so much? At the same time, with her marriage on the verge of a breakdown, an inexperienced, exasperated young mother tries her best to cope with her teething baby. Then, her young husband, reeking of whiskey and cigar, returns home; however, his arrival comes as an unpleasant and unwelcome surprise. Once, they were a happy couple. Now, the husband and wife are drifting apart. What went wrong in their marriage?
