User ReviewPrivate Uboth leads are great; Tritigant is part animal, machine, lost soul; Delon knowis exactly how much to care about anything; a great police procedural,
User ReviewLouis DJacques Deray dismisses the reconstructionist approach to crime films used by his contemporaries (Jean Luc Godard and Jean Pierre Melville) through refusal of an artistic treatment and the use of traditional, albeit expertly presented, narrative devices. Without application of these more accessible facets, Flic Story would have obscured a brilliant character study regarding the necessity of desperation when working to achieve status or committing acts of revenge.
User ReviewKevin LDetective romp with the interminably cigarette smoking Alain Delon. Some unfortunate but still quaint cinematography of a made for BBC thriller.
User ReviewJohn Bworth it for alain delon and the performances generally.
User ReviewWS WA little bit better than ? Un Flic ?. Still boring however.
User ReviewGreg NSaddly this is a lot like Melville with none of the substance, excitement, or skill. A for effort I guess. Delon is good at least.
