User ReviewJeremy MLove this picture. Great effects, makeup, story. Is there going to be a follow up film? Can't wait.
User ReviewChristopher CI really enjoyed this movie. It's a slow burn and cryptic at times, which actually adds to it's dark mood. The effects and acting are first rate. An A+ B-movie. I'd love to see it become a series, like HBO would have.
User ReviewLisy ROh I loved the ending! Bawled my eyes out, and the philosophy behind it was rather enchanting. The story was great, camera work was pretty good as well, but what really grabs your attention is the acting, which I thought was top notch, and the make-up! Seriously, I thought that we would get only glimpses here and there of their demonic sides, but the majority of the movie is all the actors in full body make-up, and the acting was never stilted while in their other "skin". All in all, if you want something that will make you feel (human), and ponder, watch this.
User ReviewJohn TThis was a bit too slow paced for my liking. And the acting was not amazing most of the time. And there was a lot of pieces that they didn't really explain, but the story was pretty great. It left you wanting more - to see and understand the origin and a bit more of the demons. The creatures looked great! This reminded me a lot of Night Breed where you have these amazing creatures that you don't really understand and only get an hour and half to view a small piece of their story. Looking forward to the next one.
User ReviewJoe WIt is a B movie and should be judged as such. It is what I would call a mystery/drama and is pretty good for a B list movie. The story is weird at first but starts to come together through out the movie which is nice since most movies these days in the first 15-30 mins you figure out pretty much what all is going to happen. It was a surprisingly good movie for a B list.
