User Review - 10/10 by Erik WOne of the best horror comedies ever made, and one of the best CAT IIIs ever made, Ebola Syndrome goes way over the top in every aspect. Highlight of the movie is Anthony Wong's fantastic acting, he plays the best maniac ever seen in films.
User Review - 10/10 by Edgar CTerrific and demented, fully-served Hong Kong buffet with an entry of sex and gore, a salad of sexual, gross-out humor, a strong dish of sacrificial rituals involving animals accompanied with Ebola-involved rapes, tight vaginas and vomit, and cannibalism, and a desert of child abuse, masturbation with pieces of meat and very funny situations. The appetizers are liquified internal organs and graphic autopsies. To drink, the offer is urolagnia. Bon appétit. 97/100

His character fucks meat, rapes native Africans carrying the ebola virus, kills his employer and turns his body into hamburger meat, and after catching ebola himself he attempts to infect everybody with the virus by spitting his blood on them. And he's an enjoyable fellow to follow on his journey of grotesque hilarity. Buckets of sleaze and gore, the Chinese were pretty goddamn good at these films in the early nineties and this I'd say is the pinnacle of their filth.

Killing for killing's sake. I was laughing a lot during this movie(but I don't think it was meant to be humorous), in between wanting to throw up. One of the greatest endings of all time too. Too funny. "EBOOOOLLAAAAA" *spits**explodes into flames* "EEEEBOOOLAAAAA!"
User Review - 10/10 by Heather KI've got to say that by simply reading about the film and seeing the odd picture from it I wasn't that interested. It sounded like a gross out competition with zero taste which it actually is...but somehow it's hilarious, and fascinating. This film has non-stop violence, disgusting shit and any sort of body liquid you can think of. The dialog is in Cantonese, and the version I saw was subtitled. What really stands out about this film is that although it hits on nearly every excess I could think of, it's always entertaining and isn't that what movies are all about? The story starts out with a bang, we watch a disgruntled restaurant employee violently kill his boss and wife, and he's about to set their young daughter on fire before he someone shows up and he flees. Then we go ahead to when this young girl is grown. By this point the murderer (erm hero?) has gone to Africa for some discount meat which they purchase even though it's clear that the tribe is sick and dying. Instead of leaving peacefully, murderer finds a dying African woman and rapes her as she dies. He picked up ebola and the movie is ready to get even more freakishly awesome. So apparently one in ten million who get ebola don't get the symptoms and die but merely they act as carriers. Guess which one the murderer is? Well the restaurant help starts to piss him off so he rapes and kills them (so now their "meat" has ebola). He turns the infected human flesh into meat and serves it to everyone he can find. He doesn't stop there though, he tries to infect just about everyone with ebola, it's simply insane to see. If you aren't into bad taste, then don't watch this, you will be offended, but if you simply want a shockingly gross and funny film which is easy to follow and rewarding the whole way through, then grab this up as fast as you can. Extremely surprisingly fantastic! eboraaaa.......

User Review - 10/10 by Stefano CThis film is just wrong on so many levels that I can't even begin to start explaining it... if you love your films very un-PC, highly offensive, completely disgusting, wildly racist, overtly sexist, showing a total disregard for both human and animal life and wildly over the top then this is definately the film for you. If you are in the least bit easily shocked then give this a miss, you really won't enjoy it. This film has little to no chance of ever being seen in the UK but is well worth hunting down if you love such titles as 'Street Trash', 'Bad Taste' or 'Brain Dead'... although it makes them seem very tame by comparison. OK, the charachters are a little cardboard and some of the acting is terrible but it's one of those films that is a joy to watch if you love shock cinema, definately one for an evening's drinking & bad movies!!!
