User ReviewCaroline MThis is the greatest movie I've ever seen. It rivals Disney and Warner brothers in terms of animated genius.

User ReviewKen SDuck and Cover is this wonderful little piece of American history. It's the "educational" film that told kids the most unconvincing lie to make them feel better about the frightening looming threat of the bomb being dropped...despite the fact that it would destroy anything in its path...just hide under your desk! All these years later, it is fascinating to see this slice of America in the 1950s, with the paranoia and the clean cut safety net that underneath was really a lie for comfort. I think this is a worth a look for anyone interesting in 20th Century History.
User ReviewDuncan PToday, this film seems so stupid because we know that ducking and covering wouldn't help you in a nuclear attack. However, it's nice to see that the government were actually making an effort to instruct the general public on what to do in an emergency. How many instructional videos are there today on the dangers of terrorism or biological attacks!?
