User ReviewIrene Sjust as good as the first one, again some of the old characters came back. this time around the underdog is female drummer with some sick moves. SSU and A&T go after each other at the annual jamboree.

User ReviewRyan MA decent sequel that doesn't live up to the drumming or cast of the original.
User ReviewSara SThis is enjoyable enough for a watch, but it falls short of the first movie.
User ReviewGregory DThey basically did the same thing they did in the 1st movie in the drum line battle scenes, but with slight changes. I felt like they had more romance drama then the actual drum line. I wanted more drum battle stuff. All we got was a cute girl with drum sticks
User ReviewJozie LKeep your instruments in your cases. Danielle Bolton defies her rich parents and attends her cousin's college in Louisiana, A&T, so she can be on the nationally recognized drum line. She will fight and scrap her way through college if she needs to, but she wants to graduate from college under her own terms. When she gets to the band, she realizes her and her classmates have a sense of entitlement that is holding them back. Can they find their rhythm, their soul, and get their act together and be the best band they can be? "No hooking up." "But that's my major!" Billie Woodruff, director of Beauty Shop, Honey 2, Bring it On: Fight to the Finish, A Very Larry Christmas, and Addicted, delivers Drumline: A New Beat. The storyline for this picture is very bland and uncreative with a few cool sequences and unanticipated failures. The acting, unfortunately, is terrible (especially Cannon). The cast includes Nick Cannon, Alexandra Shipp, Leonard Roberts, Letoya Luckett, and Jordan Calloway. "We don't all snap our fingers." My girlfriend loved the first Drumline, and I thought it was just above average, but this was a huge step down from the original Drumline (believe it or not). I did want to watch it all the way through, and aspects of the story were painfully flimsy, but it felt weakly put together. Overall, I recommend skipping this film. Grade: F
