A group of scientists, working in a deep underground lab, clones and hatches a 1,000-year-old dragon, after finding its remains in a cavern in southern England. After the critter goes from one cell to full grown in 3 hours, it goes on a rampage, killing most of the scientists and escaping to the surface. Naturally, bullets don't faze it at all. Our Intrepid Hero helps kill if before it can menace all mankind. Sort of "Alien" meets "Reign of Fire".... (Full plot summary below)

| User ReviewEhab MIt left much to be desired. Scientist discovered dragon egg and used it genetically to create more. However things go wrong in the lab as the dragon hatched. The screen splits irritably into 2-3's showing few diferent scenes at a time. A bit cheesy and dumb but could have been made better and the acting is laughable. |

| User ReviewMohammad Javad HNot bad movie... The first 45 minutes of Dragon Fighter are entirely acceptable and surprisingly watchable. The characters are believable and interesting. The cloning lab looks really high-tech. After that, it all collapses. The characters start behaving idiotically, and a new subplot is introduced from nowhere about a fusion reactor (and this is supposedly "present day") going critical, the only plot justification of which is that it is required to kill the dragon - only it doesn't. The finish is incredibly weak. One wonders what made a movie that started out so well turn so wrong. All the characters except Dean Cain are played by Russians. This results in some weird situations and details, like the character being played by Vessela Dimitrova being called "Bailey Kent" despite her heavy accent. Anyway I enjoyed that. |
| User ReviewDanny SDragons did exist, they are not a Legend. The last Dragon died in 15th Century so far my knowledge. Thanks to SAT1 Documentary in 2008. Well I am not here to teach History. This Movie was Interesting. I would recommend it. |
| User ReviewCorey TDean Cain just seams to love low budget movies. The special effects in this one were low quality, the characters are one dimensional, but there is a story, and it did keep me interested for its comedy, both intentional and accidental. Worth a see for low budget movie fans. |

| User ReviewWes SDragon Fighter has a weird set up. Constantly displaying too camera angles at once, it gets distracting and unappealing. The plot is a bit dumb, but fun. Sadly the dragon doesn't do much but stalk the hallways. The CGI isn't too impressive either. Really, outside of the concept, nothing about the film is memorable. |
| User ReviewFilmGrinder SThe most blatant rip-off of ALIEN I have ever seen!. Cain (here we go) is a tough as nails military man teddy bear, who fights a CGI dragon. The CGI is the least of this movie's problems. There's overkill on the split screen action (at one point there's six differnt points of veiw) and the laughable weapons! A tranquilizer shotgun! What a contraption! I can go on but I'll cut it short. I tend to like these cheeseball flicks but this one takes itself to serious. |
