Full Plot Details

A poor eighteenth century English coastal farming community survives King George III's (Eric Pohlmann's) ruinous taxes thanks to a smuggling ring created by its masked leader called the Scarecrow (Patrick McGoohan). The ring's success leads King George III to order the Royal Army's General Pugh (Geoffrey Keen) to capture and execute the ringleaders. User Review - 8/10 by Kim BThis was some top notch Disney action. The Scarecrow is creepy as hell, and Patrick McGoohan was fantastic in a pre-THE PRISONER roll. I watched the actual Disney episodes as opposed to this movie, but I'm guessing it's just as damned good.
User Review - 8/10 by Neil ODisney version of the DrSyn legend. This version is softer than the hammer version with Peter Cushing though it is equally as good. Patrick mcGoohan is excelent inthe title role and Geoffery Keen makes a superb panto baddie. Highly reccomended - great fun.
