Only one of them survived the ordeal of CANNIBAL. From a hospital bed, an injured Noelle tells shocked police detectives a tale of cannibal terror. In recounting her ordeal, the detectives learn of an even more awful truth behind the actions of this tragic couple. Horror master Ulli Lommel's depraved tale of a modern-day CANNIBAL is based on the real-life case of a man who murdered and consumed his lover -- liver and all! -- in a strange act of consensual love. In Lommel's film of the events, two star-crossed lovers enter a world where madness rules and even a loved one can transform into a flesh-eating cannibal.

User Review - 10/10 by Brody Mcannibalism...i guess it's ok if you a zombie, you know, cause that's what zombies do. but to eat someone you love so they can be closer to you forever...is huh, i don't know man. now that i think about it, it's pretty disturbing.

Seriously, who is this guy? Though I don?t claim to be an all knowing expert, I will say that I have been a horror fan since a young age. I would think I would have at least heard of someone labeled as a ?master? in the horror genre. I did some research to see if maybe I had gotten out of touch somehow. I looked up Mr. Lommel on IMDb. Apparently if you direct three or four low budget horror films you get to use the title ?master of horror? now. Yeah.[/size][/font][/color] [color=#333333][font='Times New Roman'][size=4] Anyway, the master really needed to do some editing. I am aware that not all movie plots have to be ?linear.? Yes they can jump around in time perspective. This editing technique only works, however, if the movie maker is skilled enough to keep the story coherent. Between the badly edited flash backs and the excessive use of repeated scenes and filler to drag out the running time of the film the plot gets lost. The music score is something I wish would have gotten lost as well. The actors do pretty well at playing clichés in bit parts and moving through the scenes like they were half asleep.
