User ReviewKEVIN EWhat a great film in my opinion my favourite asian film so far, i really enjoyed it. I loved how the story progressed so much so that once i had watched the first film i had to then put in the second.
User ReviewAlyssa CGood movie I loved it but mostly cause I love anything death note
User ReviewJoyce AI don't like it,... because I LOVE it,... hahaha,...
User ReviewIan DDeath Note: L: Change the WorLd is not only a must see for anime fans... It's a must see for anybody. Very gripping from start to finish. The movie stars Kenichi Matsuyama as L (for those who don't know him; imagine Sherlock Holmes mixed in with James Bond and Rain Man) He is the worlds greatest detective tasked with tracking down a group of bio-terrorists who are hell bent on wiping out the human race with a highly advanced Ebola virus. He must also care for two young children; an unnamed boy-genius and an orphan girl named Maki. However smart he may be however, he cannot change his fate... to die in 23 days... Long story short: Watch it! It WILL have you tearing up by the films end of both sorrow and joy, as they hit these emotional chords perfectly with the films precise direction, solid delivery of the characters and it's simply BEAUTIFUL score!
User ReviewMichael CThis film is absolutely brilliant!!! The best thing about the Death Note live-Action films is that they are faithful to the original material from the manga, but at the same time some of the plot elements are entirely different. And yet the result is executed beautifully. Kenichi Matsuyama reprises his role as the enigmatic L, and this time he is brought outside of his comfort zone. In this film we get to see a side of L that we did not see in the first two films as well as the Death Note Anime series. While the plot may seem simple enough, it is in fact very complex and intriguing. Fans of the Manga and the anime series will have plenty to like here. And for those that have not seen or read any of the Death Note material before, it is a very worth while experience. Although I would recommend seeing at least the first two films before watching this, because it will make a lot more sense. The events of this film take place between the last two scenes in Death Note II: The Last name which is 23 days. Fans of Mystery novels, or any kind of suspense type of movie should check this out. While you may not be a fan of anime, this is a series that may surprise you, as will this film. The english dub is exceptional, in both the film and the extras section. Plenty of bonus material here. And for fans of Death Note, this is a nice conclusion to the film series.
User ReviewMike MThe third film in the Death Note Trilogy, follows during and after the dramatic events of Death Note: The Last Name. Here, the much loved Detective L (KenÃchi Matsuyama) returns for his final adventure and takes center stage. The Death Note films are without a doubt some the greatest manga to film adaptations I've ever seen. The Production values and performances are excellent. The story cleverly weaves the huge amount of source material into a cognitive and memorable story. The final film is exiting, funny, dramatic and bittersweet, bringing a conclusion to L's story and to Death Note in cinema form. Long Live Death Note.
User ReviewJorge OGreat film base on the anime... Highly recommend The Death Note 1 & 2...
User ReviewAnthony AThis one was good, the translation was a bit out of it, but it was a good film nonetheless
User ReviewMosley AA nice lighter side of the deathnote films. It's good to have some giggles in even knowing that the out come in the end has already played out in the second movie. It's also a nice change getting to see things through L's eyes and not just Light's.
