Stoney Cooper, a former Los Angeles police officer, is at a low point in his life. Kicked off the force because of his anti-authority attitude, he now ekes out a living as a freelancer in New York. All this changes when the daughter of an old friend is killed by a serial killer terrorizing L.A. | User ReviewShawn WFormer LA cop returns to assist a friend in investigation of serial killer, reacquainting himself with several former enemies along the way on both sides of the law. Certainly watchable with Wings Hauser and Lincoln Kilpatrick as the stereotypical police chief but nothing to separate itself from other cop-kicked-off-the-force films. |
| User ReviewSenor CAfter the fantastic Vice Squad Wings Hauser tries to follow up w/ Deadly Force & as an outcast cop turned pirate eye he's no where in the league of Ramrod. Although it tries on occasion to trend that seedy line far too often its by the numbers & is hampered by a lot of padding. Did he really need a love interest? No not really but the script writers seemed to think it needed to follow that formula..or maybe Wings just wanted to show his ass. I didn't need to see it. That must have been for the ladies. All in all it's not bad/ it's watchable but you're mostly just putting in your time. You want some classic Hauser watch Vice Squad again..the role he should have gotten a Oscar for |
