User ReviewDavid TNot only is this one of my all-time favorite Full Moon movies, its also one of my favorite Debbie Rochon flicks, and is a permanent staple in my October/Halloween viewing list. While this movie certainly won't please a large audience, something about it clicks with me, and I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. The story flows very nicely, switching gears completely for the final act. And at barely over an hour, it never gets boring or hard to sit through. The acting is solid for this type of film, with Debbie Rochon shining in the spotlight. While there are a few silly moments (including computer effects and some strange editing), they definitely give the movie more charm, and there is one scene involving Rochon and a pumpkin that is about as Halloween as a movie can get. That scene alone is worth the price of the DVD. Simply put, a must-have for b-horror enthusiasts.
User ReviewRoxsy TNot bad. You really have to make up your own mind about this film. It's about a witch who takes revenge on a group of guys who killed her "son". Her son being in human form at the beginning of the film and then taking the form of a cat a little later on. The witch assumes a younger form (Debbie Rochon) to bewitch these men and kill them. There's not really any interesting plot twists or story telling here but I think for the story they were trying to tell they did an okay job. I actually thought it was going to be a really bad film but I didn't mind watching it.
User ReviewTim HKinda cool little no budget flick. It would have been interesting to see what they would have done if they had actually had money. Kind of like a Pumpkinhead flick in a way.
User ReviewSteve Msub indie. This started off like it was going to be great, but then it ended up being kinda lame. It was neat seeing the cheesy monsters (Seriously they looked really bad).
User ReviewPaul WA very dodgy film. Worth watching at least once in your life. Not scary by any means (honestly). You can see they only had a £5 budget, but they did OK. Acting was top notch (lie), special effects were immense (lie) and the story was jaw-droppingly good (lie). Who thinks up, "Lets have 3 guys with plants growing out of their heads, whilst rotting, then calling a legendary magic spell, aWhammy"?
