| User Reviewalanpotter17Filmes colegiais já estão saturados há muito tempo, mas por alguma razão este aqui até que acerta no retrato, vai ver porque embora use a escola como pano de fundo, o tema da mediunidade nunca deixa realmente de ser um pano de fundo, e os personagens ao menos são interessantes. Claro que ainda faz uso de chavões insuportáveis, como das garotas populares, das patricinhas etc. E talvez precisasse de uma reciclagem, uma vez que um garoto como o Alex, o crush da protagonista, está muito longe de não ser padrão: ele é bonito, novato, e ainda tornou-se o mascote do time, como ele seria impopular nesse universo? É também meio estranho ver a nossa protagonista falando com vários fantasmas e em nenhum momento ser vista como louca, mas tudo bem, a gente releva. O importante aqui é se entregar para obra e ver a desconstrução dos personagens, em que pese ela adotar a capa de patricinha e tudo o que é de mais abominável no universo jovem, ao menos há um porquê disso tudo e o filme consegue fazer a transição sem ser abrupto. Também convence essa progressão em sua autoestima, de modo que a mudança foi feita de forma eficaz. Darby, portanto, nada mais é do que um filme que tenta fazer vários acertos de contas, e passando a mensagem que o fato de ser popular nem conta tanto assim, se bem visto pela juventude, pode passar uma imagem menos tensa de como sobreviver à escola. Darby e Alex, por exemplo, tem uma relação saudável mesmo não fazendo uso de forma tóxica das redes sociais, embora seja uma pena que eles demorem a se pegar. No mais, claro que há problemas com o roteiro, da superficialidade à pieguice, como a relação com a mãe. E quando as almas resolvem os acertos, elas"sobem" de um modo... bem toco eu diria, como num efeito purpurina, e isso acontece com várias "alminhas" que visitam Darby às sexta-feiras (?) em busca de ajuda. Como uma adolescente tem tanto talento para ajudá-los é uma pergunta que nem eu e nem o filme sabemos responder. Mas é divertido assistir, isso que vale. |
