Dad answers the advertisement of a rich young widow who wishes to marry, but when she calls on him he does not like her appearance and pretends insanity in order to get rid of her. He's taken to a sanitarium. The widow, however, was only "made up" to look old and homely, and when she removes her disguise, the son immediately falls in love.
