Ozus' World Movie ReviewsDennis SchwartzThe pretentious psychological thriller has nothing worth saying about the American criminal justice system.
MovieholeClint MorrisOldman's good, and Bacon's bad? Yeah, you know you want to see that
User ReviewSteve GFantastic, kept me on the edge of my seat
User ReviewBrett SQuite a suspensful film with top notch performances from Oldman & Bacon. I wouldn't say its a masterpiece, but it does have some very suspensful scenes.
User ReviewSara COldman was amazing as usual!!! Bacon looked like a serial killer as usual!!! Suspense was there! Story line needed a lil' but overall an enjoyable movie!
User ReviewEricBoth Kevin Bacon and Gary Oldman are true masters in this one. The movie is like a symbolic piece of art made from elements of action, suspense, and psychothriller. And to finish it off, there is a very thoughtful metaphor used in the final scenes that leaves you staring at the credits thinking 'Wow..'. AWESOME.
User ReviewChiek EI saw about half this movie late early in A.M.,(3-5 -12). Good study of a disturbed mind.
User ReviewLee MI was expecting alot more for a film that featured both Gary Oldman and Kevin Bacon. They both did a great job in their roles - Gary as a defense atty. who manages to get his client (Bacon) acquitted of murder; and then finds out his client is guilty. Bacon is great at doing creepy. I just thought the story was long and tedious in some places and quite predictable.
User ReviewKevin HOdd seeing Oldman as the hero for a change with Bacon as the villian....
User ReviewAnthony VFans of Oldman and/or Bacon should definitely check out this all but forgotten legal thriller from the late 80's. The plot's kind of so-so, but the two leads make it interesting. The final scene especially has a chill to it; the underlying meaning of which only comes across in the eyes of these two great performers.
