In a small town in 1967, plucky young sissy Phillip is about to celebrate his birthday at the beach cottage owned by his best friend Stan. Meanwhile, a horde of libidinous gay men - turned into ravenous flesh-eating zombies by toxic mosquitoes at a cruisy highway rest stop - are making their way towards our oblivious celebrants, eating every man in their path. With body parts washing up on shore and party guests disappearing, our heroes must find a way to stop the zombie onslaught. Will Stan keep the rotting corpses out of his spotless home? Will Joseph work up the courage to declare his love for Phillip? Will Billy keep it in his pants long enough to stay alive? Will Phillip's cheating boyfriend make it to the party - and if so, will he be there to save them, or to eat them? No one is safe in this campy mix of classic B horror flicks and pre-Stonewall gay melodramas.

| User ReviewStephen CIf you're easily offended, absolutely do not watch this. There's some pretty crass humor involved. But having said that, this is one of the most hilarious spoofs I've ever seen. It's too bad this has gotten so little attention, because it's a riot, and far better than most of the high-budget, well known films of its type. I would recommend this to anyone with an open mind and a good sense of humor. |
| User ReviewMichael MA silly homosexual spoof of Night of the Living Dead (sorry, no Gill Man here), Revenge of the Pink Creatures is a short but funny enough horror comedy to pass the time. A group of friends and lovers intend to enjoy a beach house vacation but are interrupted when zombie mosquitos starts spreading their virus at the infamous Exit 5 Rest Stop. Thankfully they're well supplied with Brute cologne and Judy Garland tunes, the zombies only weakness. Not VF. |
