User ReviewPrivate UDramatisation of the real life affair between Barbara Windsor and Sid James. The actors portraying the Carry On cast nail their mannerisms to a tee especially Samantha Spiro as Barbara Windsor. Pinewood Studios as they were during filming of the Carry Ons are realistically recreated. All in all this is a fantastic production with a wonderful script and is highly recommended to those that enjoy the Carry On films.

User ReviewGraeme Lan excellent cast brings an expanded version of the stage play to life on the screen with the atmosphere of a Carry On film .Almost perfect casting
User ReviewJames KFunny, moving and well-portrayed account of the affair between Sid James and Barbara Windsor. Provides a fascinating look behind the scenes of the Carry On movies, is brilliantly cast and very enjoyable. Even manages to make Barbara Windsor likeable, right up to the point where the lady herself appears and plays herself in the final scene, which is just irritating. Grr. Oh, and Adam Godley's portrayal of Kenneth Williams is infintely better than Michael Sheen's woefully pantomime version in 'Fantabulosa'
User ReviewLisa Bgood movie, and more interesting because barbara windsor was the real voice behind the making of the movie, giving her insight into the life of the stars of the carry on movies, and of her relationship with sid. nice touch that she appears at the end also, and i loved adam godley, who played kenneth williams, whom i loved to bits. well worth the watch.
