Erol, Gerry and Bryan are three boys from the safe, quiet suburbs of Spring Valley, CA. Friends forever, these three 12 year olds have spent many a summer playing video games, watching movies, playing sports and simply messing around. As they enter middle school, Bryan, their leader, has decided that this isn't enough anymore. He's tired of always having the same old summer. With the start of their new school year just around the corner, he bemoans this fact to Erol and Gerry. Things take a turn when the boys get invited to the Calcoa Fun Zone by Isabel and Freshta; two of the hottest girls in school. Seizing this opportunity, Bryan tells them that they will be there even though they have no means of transportation. Not helping matters is the fact that there is a serial killer known as "The Ghost" on the loose. "The Ghost" has everybody in the Southland on edge. Just when it seems like the boy's trip to the Fun Zone might not happen, they meet a stranger named Tomas. Through a series of circumstances, he becomes their chauffeur for a night on the town they'll never forget. Over the course of this final night of summer, Erol, Gerry and Bryan can't help but wonder if their new friend is, in fact, the serial killer that everybody is afraid of.
