New York TimesNeil GenzlingerA drug-deal tale featuring top-drawer actors trying to have fun with a medium-strength script. Sometimes they succeed, but not often enough to elevate the film to "Pulp Fiction" territory.
CraveOnlineWilliam BibbianiA collection of all the Quentin Tarantino mannerisms we make fun of ... but none of the understanding of human nature that goes along with them.

User ReviewJoel BCatch .44 is a fun, quick, grindhouse, Tarantinonish movie. The fact that it is quick is one of the movie's problem, it's too quick. The movie minus the credits is only 1hr 20min - 1hr 15min and it passed really quickly. I'm one of the few people that like this movie and thought it should've been longer. Overall the dialogue is pretty good, the acting is good, and the main girls are looking fine. I did have a problem with Forest Whitaker's so called mexican accent or whatever....overall a fun movie though.
