Monthly Film BulletinMFB CriticsMost of the players have their moments, although these are perhaps too few for some old stalwarts like Joan Sims. Amanda Barrie, however, as a comically suburban Cleo makes a worthy addition to the team.
User ReviewRick L"Infamy, infamy", ....oh, you know the rest. Brilliant camp fun courtesy of the usual suspects
User ReviewKarsh DStrong performances from all involved - some excellent costumes, borrowed from the epic Cleopatra, and the gags come thick and fast - including that Infamy gag! Just Brilliant!!
User ReviewSteve RInfamy! Infamy! They've all got it in for me!
User ReviewCarl MThe best off the Carry on's. The team where at there best when doing the historic romps.
User ReviewSimon EOkay - it was never in line to win an oscar, but it's great escapist fun. Totally ridiculous in every way and lovable because the film doesn't take itself seriously. The only decent costumes were worn by Sid James because they were allegedly made for Richard Burton when filming the 'real' Cleopatra!. I have a copy on DVD that I watch from time to time!
User ReviewJohn WThe Carry on team on full form. Makes the Richard Burton Cleopatra seem very dull. They used the same sets and costumes for both films...
User ReviewRobin MHas one of the best lines in picture history, Caesar yelling infamy infamy they all have in in for me
User ReviewOliver SGood, funny film (now on blu-ray) The costumes and much of the set came from the Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton film of the same year;
User ReviewBunmi OSilly fun, innuendos and double entendres - what more do you want?!
