User ReviewSuncica MA cool observational documentary into the campaign of a political newbie and a glimpse of Japanese politics.
User ReviewMark CExcellent cinema verite look at a Japanese political campaign. After having listened to candidates do nothing but scream their names from cars for two years, it was nice to hear a candidate having conversations with his staffers, party members, and family about how and why campaigns are conducted in the manner that they are. At times frustrating and at others humorous, this is an excellent snap shot of what it's like to be a somewhat naive political newbie in Japan.
User ReviewChris GSoda provides a wonderfully amusing look at the sad state of democracy in modern day Japan.
User ReviewMatthew SA look at Japanese machine politics through the experiences of a carpetbagger picked by Japan's LDP to run for the Kawasaki city council.
User ReviewJeffrey KThis is quite good--insightful, but also pretty funny. Could've been edited down a tad, and would've liked to have seen more on turnout operations.
User ReviewKanako Ia look on the japanese traditional culture and how people would like to escape from it
