Little White LiesJulian WhiteAn unexpected and individual take on sin and the devil by a director who - shock horror - actually has something to say.
Shadows on the WallRich ClineThe grounded approach and honest performances are provocative and unsettling. As is the fact that it's based on a true story.
Radio TimesTerry StauntonWith little in the way of shocks or surprises, writer/director George VanBuskirk fashions a lightweight drama that ponders religious fanaticism but never seems sure of its message.
Time OutNigel FloydBudgetary limitations, a plodding script, ropey visual effects and an excruciating score undercut a heartfelt cautionary tale about a confused teenager wrestling with his religious faith and the dogmatism of his overzealous elders.
User ReviewGuido VGood movie on religion, heaven, hell, god and the devil.
User ReviewPatrick NIt came out definitely better than what I was expecting. I liked the mood a lot!
User Reviewjay xwow totally not what i expected don't watch the trailer tho cuz it gives away all the good moments. scared me a bit but in the other way not at all
User ReviewDavid KI don't know, but everything you do is evil. Go on dates, read magazines, go to amusement parks, etc. No wonder it's called Camp Hell.
User ReviewAmanda HThis film has a ton of potential, and unfortunately does not live up to most of it. In the first half hour or so, I was thinking, "Hey, this isn't at all what I expected... and I like it!" Sadly, then it started to fall apart, and by the end of it it's just an endless string of weirdness that doesn't really have much point. Too bad, because it could have been a great movie.
User ReviewWinfield WInteresting idea but poorly executed. I never knew of any Catholic community to be like this camp but apparently this is a true story.
