| User ReviewBrian CSurprisingly good. When I saw in the opening credits that Jamie Kennedy was the main character I lost hope, but damn, he was awesome. He really pulled off the role well. Buddy Hutchins is the story of Buddy, an owner of a failing dry cleaning business, who finds out his wife is cheating, gets kicked out of the home, loses custody of his kids, starts drinking again, fights with his brother and his brother's boyfriend, it just goes on and on. Nothing goes right for Buddy, but one thing remains constant, and that is his love for his daughter. Jamie Kennedy really shows his range as an actor in this movie, from physically portraying such a downtrodden character, to a very loving father to his daughter. And when he snaps.... He isn't comical in this movie at all. There are a few funny moments, but this really is a very sad tale of a man losing everything. |
